It's level at the break. Saints have defended superbly, limiting Liverpool to just a few shots from distance, although they will hope to have more of an impact at the other end in the second half.

It's been a tight contest so far in this half, with neither keeper yet to be seriously tested, as we tick past the half-hour mark.

Roberto Firmino wins the ball off Oriol Romeu just outside the edge of the area, but Maya Yoshida positions himself superbly to block the Liverpool player's subsequent shot.

It never takes long for Oriol Romeu, who was voted Fans' and Players' Player of the Season, to get involved in the thick of the action.
