What an afternoon at St Mary's. James Ward-Prowse fired Saints ahead after just 25 minutes with a sublime strike but the joy was short lived as Mohammed Salisu was shown a second yellow card for a challenge in the penalty area. With Kane netting the resulting penalty, it was a tense second half as Saints put on a resolute defensive display to ensure the scores were tied at the final whistle.

Salisu launches the long throw in from the sidelines before Spurs attempt to clear the ball but it only goes as far as Ward-Prowse. Cutting the ball across with his right foot, his shot curls into the back of the net and away from Lloris.
