Nathaniel Clyne has been named in the England Under 21 squad for next month's double-header against Azerbaijan and Norway.
The games are the Young Lions' last of their UEFA U21 European Championship qualifying campaign, with Stuart Pearce's side currently top of Group 8.
First up for Clyne is a trip to the Dalga Stadium in Baku to take on Azerbaijan next Thursday, 6th September, at 5pm local time.
Next comes a potentially group-deciding fixture against second-placed Norway at Chesterfield's B2net Stadium on Monday 10th September (8pm kick-off).
Summer signing Clyne has previously been capped twice by the Under 21s having played against Iceland and Belgium earlier in the current qualifying campaign.
The 21-year-old will join up with England at their new St George's Park base in Burton-on-Trent after Saints' game against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, both Steven Davis and Danny Fox have been named in forthcoming World Cup Qualifying squads over the same international break.
Northern Ireland skipper Davis, who has 53 caps and 4 goals to his name for his country is named in a 23 man party for matches against Russia in Moscow on 7th September, and then Luxembourg four days later at Windsor Park.
Fox is in the Scotland side playing at Hampden for the visits of Serbia on 8th September, and Macedonia on Tuesday 11th.
All three players will return to Saints in time for our trip to Arsenal on Saturday 15th September.
