Saints will play Sheffield Wednesday in the third round of the Capital One Cup.
The draw was made following the final match of round two which was played on Thursday night.
Nigel Adkins’ men face the Owls at St Mary’s as a reward for seeing off Stevenage in the second round earlier this week.
The tie with Dave Jones's side takes place in the week commencing Monday 24th September. Full ticket details will follow on saintsfc.co.uk as soon as they are confirmed.
