Southampton Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Limbrick as its new Under-18 Coach.

Limbrick will take charge of Saints’ under-18 team after two seasons as the club’s Under-16 Coach as well as the Lead Youth Development Coach for players aged 13 to 16.

The 30 year-old will be assisted in the short-term by Paul Bodin, who was previously a youth coach at Swindon Town for a number of years during which he also had a spell as the club’s caretaker manager.

The former Welsh international initially joins Southampton on a temporary basis to assist Limbrick in preparing the squad for the upcoming season.

Academy Director Matt Hale said: “I’m delighted to introduce Anthony as our new Under-18 coach.

“Anthony joined the club four years ago and has overseen the development of a number of players who he will now work with at under-18 level.

“He has a growing reputation within the game and will relish the opportunity to continue Southampton’s rich history of player development.”
