Morgan Schneiderlin has held his place in the French senior squad for two forthcoming friendly matches.
The midfielder who was a part of the France side that reached the Quarter Finals of the World Cup earlier this year, has received another chance to play his way into Didier Deschamps’ thoughts for the European Championships in 18 months’ time.
France automatically qualify for Euro 2016 as they are hosting the competition, so Les Bleus are in friendly action over the next round of international fixtures.
They’ll take on Spain next Thursday at the Stade de France before heading over to Belgrade to take on Serbia, in a match which could see Schneiderlin come up against club teammate Dušan Tadić.
Morgan made his first appearance for Les Bleus in their final game of the group stages at this summer’s World Cup - a goalless draw with Ecuador, in which the Saints man completed the full 90 minutes.
