Jordy Clasie says it is important Southampton try to finish off their week in Holland well when they face Groningen on Saturday.
Saints have beaten PEC Zwolle and FC Twente in their opening two matches of the tour, which will conclude with the fixture at the Euroborg stadium.
After that, Claude Puel's men will have just two friendly matches left, against Spanish sides Espanyol and Athletic Club, before the new Premier League season begins.
"It's very important," Clasie told Southampton's official YouTube channel. "It's good to keep the group close to each other and make some fun with each other as well, but the most important things are the games and training sessions and you have to be fit for the first game – train hard and work hard for yourself and for your teammates and after that enjoy the game and your minutes.
"The most important thing is to win the games, and we're looking forward to Groningen."
