Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg started for Denmark, as they beat Liechtenstein 5-0 in a friendly match.
The Saints star played the first half at the CASA Arena, in Horsens, before being substituted.
By that point, the hosts were cruising at 2-0 up, after Nicolai Jørgensen struck twice in the space of three minutes.
That was followed after the break by strikes from Andreas Cornelius, Viktor Fischer and Jens Stryger Larsen.
Next up for Denmark is their opening match of World Cup qualifying, as they host Armenia this Sunday (5pm BST).
