Southampton manager Claude Puel believes tonight's EFL Cup tie against Arsenal will be a meeting of two sides with similar philosophies.
Saints visit Emirates Stadium for a quarter-final contest, as they look to avoid exiting the competition at this stage for a third successive season.
Arsenal edged it 2-1, thanks to a controversial late penalty, when the sides met in the Premier League earlier in the season, and Puel is expecting another close game.
He is also anticipating a match that will see plenty of quality, as well as some talented young players on show.
"We know Arsenal. They keep the same identity in their play, with young players," he said.
"It's a mix between experienced players and young ones, but it's an important competition for them also, because it's an opportunity for them to improve with their young players and it's an important objective for us also. I think it is the same way for us."
