Jake Vokins was an unused substitute as England Under-17s defeated Norway 3-1 in their European Championships opener.
The Three Lions fell behind early on in Croatia after captain Marc Guehi directed the ball into his own net after just eight minutes.
But Liverpool's Rhian Brewster responded immediately to level from close range after Jadon Sancho rounded the goalkeeper and squared following a superb run from inside his own half.
Brewster then fired in from inside the penalty area on 35 minutes to double his personal tally and put England ahead at the break.
Manchester City's Phil Foden then confirmed the victory on 78 minutes when he side-stepped into the penalty area and saw his deflected shot nestle in the far corner.
England are next in action on Sunday 7th of May when they face Ukraine in their second Group D game.
