Vote for your Under Armour Player of the Month

By SFC Media time Fri 26 May Player of the Month

We’ve picked our four nominees and now it’s time for you to choose your Under Armour Player of the Month for May.

Saints played five games in the Premier League, shutting out Liverpool for the fourth time in the campaign, as well as earning a 2-1 away success against Middlesbrough.

The four contenders for April's player of the month are:
- Fraser Forster
- Oriol Romeu
- Maya Yoshida
- Jack Stephens

England international Fraser Forster kicked-off the month with a clean sheet at Liverpool after saving James Milner’s penalty at Anfield to help preserve a well-earned point.

Forster, who is one of only five players to complete every minute of Premier League action also helped earn a clean sheet against Manchester United.

Last month’s winner of the award Maya Yoshida has continued his fine form at the heart of the defence alongside Jack Stephens, contributing to those aforementioned shutouts against two of the top sides in the division.

Upon accepting his April award, Yoshida attributed praise to his centre-back partner Jack Stephens who has once again shone with performances beyond his Premier League years.

Finally, player of the season Oriol Romeu’s dominant displays at the heart of the midfield have earned him another nomination.
He helped the side to a vital win against Middlesbrough, in a game where he completed 96 passes and regained possession eight times.
