Callum Slattery watched on as England's Young Lions started their Toulon Tournament campaign with a 1-0 win over Angola.

The team, which is made up a mixture of players from the under-18 to under-20 age groups, triumphed thanks to Ike Ugbo's goal early in the second half.

Saints midfielder Slattery was an unused substitute for the game, in Aubagne, but will hope to see action when the Young Lions face Cuba, in their second group match, on Thursday.
