Southampton defender Florin Gardos is back with Romania’s national team, ahead of their upcoming games against Poland and Chile.
The centre-back, who is back to fitness after a difficult time with injuries, was last called up by his country in June 2015, but has been brought back into the fold by head coach Christoph Daum.
Gardos was initially on the reserve list for the World Cup qualifier away to Poland and the friendly at home to Chile.
However, he was given the nod after Ludogorets defender Cosmic Moti had to withdraw from the squad.
Gardos has joined up with his international colleagues for a training camp ahead of the two fixtures.
Romania are currently fourth in Group E of the World Cup qualifying standings, with six points from five games.
They visit Poland, who top the group at the halfway stage, on Saturday 10th June, before hosting Chile in a friendly two days later.
