Southampton's Club Captain, Steven Davis, today received his MBE from Prince William.

It was announced in the Queen's Birthday Honours in the summer that the Saints and Northern Ireland skipper would be made an MBE for services to football.

Davis was one of 100 people in Northern Ireland to be recognised with an honour.

He attended an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace today, where Prince William bestowed the honour upon him.

Davis described it as "a huge honour" and "an experience I'll never forget."
