The votes have been counted, and it is time to reveal the Southampton fans’ Ultimate XI!

The team forms part of the major exhibition on the club’s history, titled We March On: Southampton Football Club, Then and Now, which opens to the public at SeaCity Museum tomorrow.

Fans were given the chance to vote from a shortlist of players selected by an independent panel of supporters and club historians, with the results having now been calculated.

As well as charting the historical highs and lows, the exhibition will also show how the football club runs now, with an exclusive look behind the gates of Staplewood Campus.

Current members of the backroom staff – from sports scientists to academy coaches – give an insight into how the place ticks and what makes it one of the most respected training facilities in the country.

There will be a whole host of other insights, memorabilia and interactive experiences as part of the showcase.

Tickets for the exhibition cost just £3.50 per person or £2.50 for concessions and are available in-person at the SeaCity Museum or by clicking here.
