Take a look through our gallery of images as a special exhibition celebrating Southampton Football Club's history opened at the SeaCity Museum last night.
A host of dignitaries from the club, as well as former and current players, joined invited guests to mark the start of the showcase, titled We March On: Southampton Football Club, Then & Now, which is now open to members of the public and will run for the next seven months.
It marks both the on and off-field history of the club, including never-seen-before memorabilia from the 1976 FA Cup and 2010 Johnstone’s Paint Trophy wins.
As well as charting the historical highs and lows, the exhibition also shows how the football club runs now, with an exclusive look behind the gates of Staplewood Campus.
Current members of the backroom staff – from sports scientists to academy coaches – give an insight into how the place ticks and what makes it one of the most respected training facilities in the country.
There are also a whole host of other insights, memorabilia and interactive experiences as part of the showcase.
Tickets for the exhibition cost just £3.50 per person or £2.50 for concessions and are available in-person at the SeaCity Museum or by clicking here.
