Can I still get tickets?
Tickets are still available to purchase via AXS with ticket prices ranging from £59.95 to £249.95. Make sure you only buy tickets through AXS (the official ticket seller for the event) to prevent the scenario of being denied entry.
Should we plan to get there extra early?
Gates will open at 5pm to enter the stadium - though if you’re there earlier, then from 3pm our Food Village will be the ideal place to enjoy the summer weather and be part of the exciting build up to the main event. A large selection of bars and food offers will ensure you are fed and watered prior to enjoying the evening’s entertainment.
Is there a support act?
The Stones will have various different support acts travelling with them during their tour this summer. British indie rock band, The Vaccines, will be opening at St Mary’s for this chapter of their ‘No Filter’ tour.
How should I arrange my travel arrangements?
There will be several road closures and strict parking restrictions around the stadium on the day of the concert and to make your journey and concert experience most enjoyable we recommend for your ease using the official park and ride service. Please note this service has to be pre-booked. Click here to book.
Southampton is served by Southampton Central Railway Station, which is approximately a mile from the stadium - roughly a 20-minute walk. The station is fully accessible to wheelchair users 24 hours a day. Please contact South Western Railway Customer Service Centre on 0345 6000 650 for any queries.
Shuttle Buses run regularly from Southampton Central Train Station and operate from the South Side (Platform 4.)
Are there any major road closures on the day?
For the concert to take place, the following road closures will be enforced. Please note that no parking will be available in these roads.
FROM 10AM: Melbourne St/Stadium South Car Park
FROM 2PM: Britannia Road junction with Northam Road, Britannia Road junction with Rochester Street, Rochester Street junction with Wilson Street (towards Britannia Road), Britannia Road junction with Victoria Street, Victoria Street junction with Belvidere Road, Melbourne Street junction with Marine Parade, Chapel Road junction with Granville Street, Marine Parade (Outside Chapel Arms)
FROM 6PM: Peel Street / Rochester Street, Belvidere Road (Outside Pit Stop News)
Security – what shall I bring? What to leave at home?
Small clutch bags, approximately A5 size (21cm by 15cm maximum), with or without a handle or strap will be allowed into host venues for Rolling Stones live performances. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper declaration and inspection.
No alcohol, no glass – this will include perfume and aftershave bottles. No flares, no cans, no food or drink, no sprays, deodorants, no laser pointers, no fireworks, pyrotechnics, no long chains on wallets, purses etc., no audio or recording equipment such as iPads, tablets, computers etc., no professional cameras or cameras with detachable lenses, no umbrellas – small, medium, golfing or foldable.
No selfie sticks, no drugs, illegal substances, legal highs, nitrous oxide, psycho active substances, any item deemed to be inappropriate or offensive including clothing, no weapons of any kind or anything that could be considered a weapon including studded jewellery, no bottled liquid or water bottles will be allowed entry into the event. Plastic cups and water points are available complimentary on-site or alternatively bottled water can be purchased from our food village.
What time will it be finished?
The evening will have finished by 10:30pm at the latest.
