Long in final Ireland squad for friendlies

Southampton striker Shane Long has been confirmed in Republic of Ireland’s final squad for their friendly games against France and United States.

Martin O’Neill has selected a 26-man group for the two games, with Long one of three forwards chosen.

Ireland face France, at the State de France, on Monday 28th May, before returning to Dublin for the clash with United States on Saturday 2nd June.
