Just over two weeks on from the final Premier League game of the season at St Mary’s, a handful of Saints stars now have their eyes firmly set on the World Cup finals in Russia.

Kicking off the international preparations on Monday evening will be Cédric whose Portugal side take on England’s Group G rivals Tunisia in Braga at 7.45pm.

The fixture is the first of three pre-tournament friendlies for the reigning European champions who will face Belgium and Algeria before joining Spain, Iran and Morocco in Group B.

Shane Long's Republic of Ireland travel to Paris to take on France in Monday's other game.

Elsewhere, Shane Long and the Republic of Ireland – who missed out on a place in Russia against Denmark in the play-offs in November – are in Paris for their meeting with France at the Stade de France at 8.00pm.
