Young Southampton midfielder Callum Slattery has joined Dutch outfit De Graafschap on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 20-year-old links up with the Eerste Divisie side for the coming months as he takes up an exciting opportunity to continue his development in Holland.

Slattery made his Premier League debut during Saints’ 2-1 victory over Leicester City last season, and signed a two-year contract extension in the summer, keeping him at St Mary’s until June 2022.

De Graafschap are currently third in the Dutch second tier.
