Stephens up for Player of the Month prize

Jack Stephens’s impressive Southampton form has been recognised with a nomination for January’s Premier League Player of the Month award.

The defender helped Saints to three victories and two clean sheets during the month, whilst also providing assists in wins over Tottenham and Crystal Palace.

The other contenders include Sergio Agüero (Man City), Alisson, Jordan Henderson (both Liverpool), Abdoulaye Doucouré (Watford), Jack Grealish (Aston Villa) and Ayoze Pérez (Leicester).

Voting closes at 6pm GMT on Monday 3rd February and the results are set to be revealed at 11am GMT on Friday 7th February.
