Saints bounce back at Watford

Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a comfortable 3-1 win at Watford on Sunday.

A Danny Ings brace and James Ward-Prowse free-kick ensured back-to-back away victories, lifting Saints to 13th in the table.

The win also set a new club record for Premier League away victories in a single season, with the tally now standing at eight.

Man City next up at St Mary’s

Southampton are next in action on Sunday, when Manchester City visit St Mary’s.

Kicking off at 7pm BST, the fixture will be broadcast live on the BBC.

The meeting with Pep Guardiola’s side is the first of three confirmed fixtures in July.

Saints Foundation name new ambassadors

Southampton FC legend, Matt Le Tissier, and Iwan Thomas have been named as the newest ambassadors for Saints Foundation.

Earlier in June, both Kenzie and Franny Benali were named, joining Southampton FC captain James Ward-Prowse and Maya Yoshida, as those who represent the club’s official charity in ambassadorial roles.

Now, Matt Le Tissier and Iwan Thomas join the line-up having previously spent time working closely with the cause in and around Southampton.
