Southampton Football Club can confirm that midfielder Harrison Reed has completed a permanent move to Fulham.

Reed, 25, has made the switch to Craven Cottage ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, having also spent last season on loan with the club.

Academy graduate Reed played 28 times for Fulham during 2019/20 and was a key member of the side that won promotion back to the Premier League via the playoffs.

He follows Mario Lemina in completing a switch to Scott Parker’s side tonight, with Reed’s fellow Saints midfielder having joined on a season-long loan.

Reed, who made his first-team debut for Saints seven years ago after an impressive career in the youth ranks, leaves St Mary’s having made 30 appearances in total at senior level.

The club would like to thank him for all his hard work and dedication throughout his time both as an Academy and first-team player and we wish him all the best for the future.
