The young midfielder was introduced in the 64th minute of the 5-0 win over Liechtenstein, which ensures France will at least finish as one of the best second-placed teams.
Currently leading France’s qualifying group going into the last round of matches is Switzerland, for whom Alexandre Jankewitz featured as a second-half substitute, helping his team extend their 100 per cent record with a 2-1 victory over Azerbaijan.
Diallo and Jankewitz could go head to head when the nations meet on Monday, with top spot still up for grabs.
