Southampton will host Shrewsbury Town in the Emirates FA Cup third round.

The last time the two sides met was in the same competition back in 2010, when late goals from David Connolly and Adam Lallana secured a 2-0 win for Southampton.

Currently sitting 23rd in League One, The Shrews recently appointed Steve Cotterill as manager in a bid to get out of the bottom four.

This season's third round proper will take place across the weekend of Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th January 2021.
