Southampton’s B team will make the trip to Somerset in early August as they step up their pre-season preparations with a trip to National League side Yeovil Town.

As the side prepare for a season in Premier League 2, the fixture at Huish Park will help prepare the side for the challenges to come in the new campaign.
The last time Saints met with the Glovers was back in 2014, where goals from Guly Do Prado and Sam Gallagher ensured of a 2-0 FA Cup win at St Mary's.
Ahead of this summer's match-up, B team coach Dave Horseman said: "Really looking forward to testing ourselves against a really good team, testing our players against a team that will be very high in the National League next season.
"These are the types of experiences our players need to bridge the gap between academy football and the men's game."
Tickets will be available for the game, with details on those to be confirmed closer to the date.
