Young Southampton defender Kayne Ramsay has joined League One side Crewe Alexandra on a season-long loan for 2021/22.
The agreement will see the 20-year-old gain yet more first-team experience in the EFL, following a brief loan spell at Shrewsbury Town during the 2019/20 term, where he featured five times.
Ramsay has made four appearances for Saints since making the switch from Chelsea back in 2017, whilst also competing regularly for the club's B team, often as captain.
The upcoming season will be spent helping Crewe Alexandra make a bid for the top end of the League One table, having finished 12th during 2020/21.
