Southampton FC Women will once again be represented at England Women’s Under-19s training camp in July.

The Saints duo of Lucia Kendall and Milly Mott will join up with the Young Lionesses for a second successive month, having taken part in June’s camp last weekend.

Enjoying breakthrough seasons in 2020/21 as part of Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side, the duo will link up with the rest of the squad for a four-day stay at the home of English football, St George’s Park.

Defender Mott came straight into the Saints side for the opening National League South West game of the season at Poole Town, going on to feature eleven more times as part of a strong back-line.

Similar was the impact of midfielder Kendall, who made her debut as a substitute on match day two at home to Buckland before contributing five goals in the nine following games.

Both players have experience of representing their country, Kendall having featured for the Lionesses at Under-15s, Under-16s and Under-18s level whilst Mott has been called up for an Under-17s training camp previously.
