Southampton's Carabao Cup journey continues at the end of October, as a date to meet reigning European champions Chelsea has been confirmed. The tie will take place on Tuesday 26th October, 7.45pm BST, at Stamford Bridge.
Ralph Hasenhüttl's side edged past Sheffield United to book their place in the fourth round, while opponents Chelsea also needed spot-kicks to oust Aston Villa.
The prize for the winner will be a place in the quarter-finals of the competition, with Saints also facing Chelsea this coming weekend in Premier League action.
