Oriol Romeu's thunderous strike against Norwich City has been nominated for Premier League Goal of the Month for February.

Opening his account for the season in sensational style, a clearance from a corner only fell to Romeu on the edge of the box, who on the half-volley unleashed an unstoppable drive into the roof of the net to round off the scoring in the 2-0 win at St Mary's.

After the game the Spaniard described just the sixth Premier League goal of his career as the best goal he's ever scored.

Romeu faces competition from Wilfried Zaha, Conor Gallagher (both Crystal Palace), Neal Maupay (Brighton), Cristiano Ronaldo (Man United), Matty Cash (Aston Villa), Sadio Mané (Liverpool) and Son Heung-min (Tottenham).
