Rafferty receives Northern Ireland call for Belgium friendly

Southampton FC Women’s Laura Rafferty has received a call-up to the Northern Ireland camp as they prepare for the Women’s EURO 2022.

Kenny Shiel’s side are set to make history, qualifying for an international tournament for the first time in their history after beating Ukraine in one of the play-off games.

Rafferty will travel to Belgium for a friendly fixture on Thursday 23rd June before Shiel’s makes the decision on his final squad for the EUROs, who will play all their group stage fixtures at St Mary’s.
