Southampton’s B team will begin their 2022/23 Papa John’s Trophy campaign with a trip to Forest Green Rovers next month.
Dave Horseman’s side will then travel to Exeter, promoted from League One along with Forest Green last season, in September, before the group phase concludes at League Two Newport in October.
Saints last progressed to the knockout stages of the competition in the 2016/17 season.
Ticket details for the three matches will be released in due course.
