Six Southampton Academy regulars will represent their home nations during this month’s International break.

Southampton’s B team’s top scorer Dom Ballard has been called up to England’s Under-18s side, ahead of their mini-tournament at the Pinatar Arena.

Neil Ryan’s side will take on Netherlands (Wednesday 21st September), Faroae Islands (Friday 23rd) and Belgium (Monday 26th) during their time in the South-East of Spain.

Another member of Dave Horseman’s B team squad set for international duty is Matt Carson, who’s been called-up to Northern Ireland’s Under-19s squad ahead of their Euro qualifiers.

They’ll go to the Netherlands during the 21st and 27th September, where they’ll face their Dutch hosts, Slovenia and Moldova.

Saints have strong representation with England’s Under-17s for the Syrenka Cup games in Warsaw.

First up is Jimmy-Jay Morgan, who has enjoyed a strong start to the Premier League 2 season with five assists in four games.

Also with a call-up to Ryan Garry’s side are Under-18s regulars Samuel Amo-Ameyaw, the summer acquisition from Tottenham’s Academy, and Nathanael Boot.

Finally another of Mikey Harris’ side, Joe Andrews, has been called up to Wales’ Under-17s Camp in Clairefontaine, France.
