Southampton's Stuart Armstrong and Ché Adams both featured as Scotland came from a goal down to beat Republic of Ireland at Hampden Park during Saturday night's Nations League action.

Stuart Armstrong featured from the start and was up against fellow Saints teammate Gavin Bazunu, who started a Republic of Ireland game for the first time since November 2021.

Bazunu's side took the lead just shy of the 20 minute mark, John Egan finding the bottom corner after a positive Irish start.

But the hosts fought back, Jack Hendry and Ryan Christie's penalty turning the game on its head. Adams was introduced into the fray on 85 minutes.

Scotland move to top of League B, Group 1, overtaking Ukraine in second and stretching their lead over third place Ireland to 8 points.
