Collett earns young Lionesses call up

Southampton FC Women's Megan Collett has been brought off standby and will represent England's Development Phase Squad in their upcoming fixtures against Norway, Portugal and Netherlands.

The 17-year-old joins Lucia Kendall as they head out to Portugal with a developmental squad covering two age groups for the young Lionesses.

Emma Coates and Gemma Davies will lead the two sides, with the U19s participating in the Algarve Cup against Norway and Netherlands on Wednesday 9 November at Stadium Vila Real de Santo Antonio (17.00 KO CET) and on Monday 14 November (14.00 KO CET) respectively.

Davies’ England U18 side will also feature at the Stadium Vila Real de Santo Antonio when Portugal host them following the U19 match on Wednesday 9 November (20.00 KO CET).
