Our SO14 engagement programme celebrated its first year of work with activities, music, dance, food and more.

Active Through Football celebrated its first anniversary with a day of activities on Saturday, welcoming more than 100 local residents of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to St Mary's Leisure Centre to mark the occasion.

The event included a variety of multi-sport sessions, henna and face painting, dance routines and a selection of local food, all of which could be enjoyed for free.

ATF 1 Year-47

Active Through Football brings together SO14 residents to get moving with fun, free, football-based activities, connecting with the communities of St Mary's, Northam and Nicholstown to help its people lead healthier, more empowered lives.

The programme is delivered in collaboration with a broad consortium of local partners, pooling expertise to ensure we work in the most effective way possible.

We run a variety of sessions for different groups every week, including refugee football, parent and child sessions, and women's only exercise. View our timetable via the link below. All sessions are just turn up and get involved, but if you'd like to hear from the team, you can register your interest.
