Last updated 17 Apr 2023Joining Saints from Hampshire when she was just 15, Rendell has been playing football since the age of 6 where she started out with Poole based side Merely.
From there Saints' number 1 joined the Dorset Centre of Excellence from the age of 8, where she played for four years before returning home to play for Merley Cobham Girls.
Rendell joined Southampton's Region Talent Club at Under-16s level, rising up the ranks to become the first team's goalkeeper, even winning the 2021/22 Goal of the Season award for her late header against Ipswich Town in the Vitality Women's FA Cup.
A far cry from her earliest football memories of playing football at the local common, Rendell went on to represent England at every level between Under-16s and Under-19s.
Her footballing idol is Gianluigi Buffon and she lists the 2019/20 FA Cup run as her favourite memory whilst representing Saints.
